Aileen Ligot Dizon is the founder and the managing partner of Ligot Dizon Law Firm. She is admitted to practice before the: (1) State Courts of Texas; (2) United States Tax Court; (3) Executive Office for Immigration Review; (4) United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; (5) United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas; (6) U. S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas; and (7) the Philippines. Aileen is an experienced immigration attorney who represents clients with issues involving the intersection of divorce, family, & immigration laws. A native of the Philippines, Aileen speaks and writes Tagalog fluently.
Aileen obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas, Master of Education (M.Ed.) at the University of Houston-Victoria, and completed her Teacher Alternative Certification Program (ACP) at the University of Houston-Downtown. Moreover, Aileen completed her law degree and bachelor degree at the University of the Cordilleras School of Law and the University of the Philippines Baguio respectively.
